Inspiring Public Engagement with Economic Data
Founded in 2016, the Advocata Institute is Sri Lanka’s leading independent think tank dedicated to advancing economic freedom and evidence-based policymaking. Our mission is to make complex economic issues understandable and accessible, empowering citizens, businesses, and policymakers to make informed decisions.
The Advocata Data platform is part of this mission. Too often, crucial economic data—covering government debt, revenue, spending, state-owned enterprises, and macroeconomic indicators such as inflation, GDP, and foreign reserves—remains scattered, technical, and hard to access. This platform brings these datasets together in one place, making transparency simple and meaningful.
Through interactive dashboards and AI-powered tools, the platform transforms raw numbers into clear insights. Whether you are a policymaker, researcher, student, or citizen, Advocata Data allows you to explore Sri Lanka’s economic performance in a way that encourages accountability, debate, and progress.
At Advocata, we believe that transparency builds trust. By connecting the dots on public economic data, Advocata Data is designed to strengthen democratic engagement and help shape a more informed and prosperous Sri Lanka.
